  • How Do You Compare to “Big-Box” Stores?


    Our team has nothing against big-box stores. However, they lack the personal touch that can help you navigate the potentially overwhelming amount of options and create custom fittings. There is also no guarantee as to the quality and durability of their offerings. At Alton Bay Blinds of New England, we are a certified Hunter Douglas dealer, carrying a wide array of the highest quality products on the market. Additionally, we custom fit every treatment, so you enjoy years of hassle-free and beautiful window coverings.   • How Long Does It Take to Get my Window Coverings?


    Our team is known for our fast response times and services. We are able to offer same-day consultations to get the process started as soon as possible. Once your order is placed it can take 1-3 weeks for blinds and shades to arrive, 4-8 weeks for plantation shutters, and 2-3 weeks for rolling shutters. We then schedule a convenient time to seamlessly install them.


  • I Live Outside Your Service Area. Can I Still Order from You?


    Absolutely! We are capable of both shipping your order to you as well as sending samples for you to look at before you decide. We also travel within 2 hours within our territories and are also capable of shipping services.


  • Are You Able to Install my New Window Coverings?


    Of course! We have one of the best installation teams in the area. We are insured and bonded professionals, which means your new window treatments are in good hands from start to finish. Our team works quickly and cleanly, so you are left with beautiful results every time.


  • How Long Does It Take To Install Blinds?


    Once you have your blinds or shutters ready to go, it's a relatively quick process to install them. On average, one blind will take about 20-30 minutes to install, and each blind after that will take an additional 10-15 minutes.


  • Do You Only Perform Residential Window Treatments?


    As North Hampton’s one-stop shop, we are capable of handling all types of commercial window covering projects, no matter how big or small. We offer window treatments that are specifically designed to pass flame retardant codes and also carry green-certified products for LEEDs building requirements.


  • How to Clean Your Window Coverings


    The best way to keep your window coverings clean is with a duster or vacuum cleaner. A full-sized vacuum cleaner meant for your floors will be a bit tricky to use, so it's best to use a smaller hand-sized one to prevent damaging anything or potentially injuring yourself.


  • Do You Offer Payment Options?


    Our team requires a 50% deposit to start the order, with the balance due at the installation. We accept cash, check, and American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa for your convenience.
